2006 Black Estate Shiraz

Deep purple in appearance, the 2006 Black Estate Shiraz displays ripe fruit aromas of plums,    blackberries and the classic "Bendigo mint."

The palate is full bodied with generous warmth.

The use of French and American oak add complexities of cedar, mixed spice and vanillin.

Time invested in bottle has seen this wine continue to develop integrated tannins and the balanced acidity leaves the palate with a persistent dry finish.

This wine will continue to develop over the medium to long term with further cellaring.

2005 Black Estate 'Seven Rows' Fortified Shiraz

With the 2005 vintage we had the good fortune to be able to diversify our range.

Seven Rows of fruit were left on the vine after the Shiraz harvest. This fruit was picked three weeks later and fortified with brandy spirit. Whenever we show it, it seems to get the WOW factor.

Exquisite dark plum in colour. Expressing youthful fruit spiciness and power.

Unoaked, available in 375ml in screw cap bottles.

It can be drunk now but will certainly reward patient cellaring for up to 20 years.
